Site information
Privacy
The Diwali Post lets you open and send a greeting without creating an account. A name is only needed if you want to put one on the link you share.
Names in greeting links
The site reads the sender name from the greeting’s web address. When you make a wish, your browser puts the name you enter into a new link. The site has no account database for greeting names. The name is part of the web address, so anyone with the link can read it and the address may appear in normal browser history and hosting logs. Use a name you are comfortable sharing.
WhatsApp and copying wishes
When you choose Share on WhatsApp, the site sends the prepared message and greeting link to WhatsApp. You choose whether to send it and whom to send it to in WhatsApp. WhatsApp handles that activity under its own privacy policy. The Diwali Post does not access your WhatsApp contacts or messages.
The Copy wish button writes the selected greeting text to your device clipboard. It does not read what is already in the clipboard.
Hosting and browser resources
Cloudflare hosts the site and may process ordinary request details such as the IP address and requested URL to deliver and protect it. Your browser may request typefaces from Google Fonts and the celebration animation library from jsDelivr. The music is served from this site.
Advertising and choices
The greeting offers optional Adsterra ads for adults. The ad code loads when you confirm you’re at least 18 and allow ads, or when you open the blessing with that choice saved. Adsterra and its advertising partners may receive the greeting URL, including any sender name in it. They may use cookies, device and network information, and ad interactions to select and measure ads. See Adsterra’s privacy policy and its cookies policy.
This site uses browser storage to remember your ad choice for 30 days in that browser. Use Ad choices in the greeting footer to change your decision. Choose No ads to decline or Reload without ads to turn off ads you previously allowed. If the browser blocks storage, your choice applies to the current visit.
When Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technology to select and measure ads. They may use information about earlier visits to this site or other sites to personalize ads. See how Google uses information from partner sites and manage personalization in My Ad Center.
You can manage cookies in your browser and use the advertising privacy options shown on the site when available.
